I have been in touch with you previously. I have appreciated all the information I received from you. My sister and brother are going to Holland in May, 2010. They will be looking up the Kappers Homestead and using the info you e-mailed to me. My grandson and wife spent their honeymoon in Rome, they toured the vatican etc. I wish they would have had your address, maybe they could have met you personally. Found your site very interesting to peruse. My Kapper family originated in Prussia with Franz being born about 1830 and immigrating to Australia in 1856 where he established himself and the family grew. his parents are recorded as Phillip and Ann. His name was apparently Kopper until immigration where it was giving a anglo-saxon prenouncation and was changed to Kapper. Cant see a connection to any trees on this site but just thought i would share in case someone has a connection.

I am the only daughter of Maria Johanna Kappers-van Beurden, and this is the first time I have seen any information on my Mother's side of the family! My Mother died on January the first, 2005, right after the sunami on the island of her birth. We moved to the United States in 1960: my older brother Nick and I live here in Elizabeth City, North Carolina: my younger brother Eric lives in Boise Idaho, and our youngest brother Paul died in 1999.
